(211) This is the British Consulate. Baz would like to say something: A big thank-you to my consulate who of course are there to help, I needed a letter of reccomendation to obtain a visa for Syria, the British Consulate obliged by charging 35 pounds (50 dollars) payable in local currency at an unfavourable exchange rate for a standard computer generated letter, the Czech Consulate charges nothing as does the Dutch, so once again THANK-YOU.
(212) This is the bridge to Asia. The only thing is that only cars are allowed. (With one exception: runners are allowed when the Eurasia-marathon is held). So we knew we would have to take a ferry again to the other side and decided to make a trip already to see how Asia looks like...

(218) 2.11 It was raining all day already. It was collllddd. We were too late at the Syrian consulate by minutes, with some pursuation we got a policeman who let me in and went with me to the Consulate and luckely we still got our Syrian visas. Then our journey continued to the ferry. When we got on board we were soaking soaking wet. Here we just got of the ferry. Welcome to Asia!
